Last weekend, Greenwich House Pottery hosted its annual “Made in Clay” benefit sale. I created a series of 10 slip cast hanging planters entitled “Brooklyn Babylon.”


The project sent me running around the city looking for air plants, which I found in the flower district after contacting the very helpful folks at the New York Bromeliad Society

Here’s a shot of two pieces of lace that have been dipped in clay, sculpted and are ready for firing.
