A life in 100 words or less

Kristen is a Brooklyn-based artist/designer who works with clay and fiber. She was a resident artist at Greenwich House Pottery in Greenwich Village from 2009-2011, where she is now a faculty member. Kristen earned her BFA in graphic design from University of Michigan Ann Arbor and later studied ceramics with Kathy Erteman in New York. Her pottery can be found in the private collection of Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio. In May 2010, she presented her first solo exhibition, “Out from Under: Turning Lace into Stone” at Heath Ceramics in Los Angeles. Her porcelain lace has been featured in Brides magazine, Elle Decoration China as well as on Design Sponge, Hand/Eye and other online publications. Kristen’s pottery is featured in “Dish” a book from Artisan by Shax Riegler.
