My show at HEATH Los Angeles opened on Saturday night! The show features over 100 pieces of handmade porcelain lace, including my largest composition to date – 28 feet by 11 feet.

My porcelain lace bowl (pictured left) was selected for the 12th annual Tokyo-New York Friendship Ceramic Competition show. It will be on display and available for purchase at the Nippon Gallery for the last week of April.

This event strives to further the cultural ties between the sister cities of New York and Tokyo by encouraging and honoring the creativity of ceramic artists from Japan and the U.S. The exhibition will include over 100 works selected by the judges of the competition.

At the end of the month, I’ll be flying out to Los Angeles to install my first solo exhibition! The show will feature my most ambitious work to date — a composition of porcelain doilies measuring about 18 feet by 11 feet, as well as several smaller pieces.
